Suzhou, May 28-29, the international independent third-party testing, inspection and certification organization TUV Rheinland (referred to as "TUV Rheinland") successfully held a seminar on photovoltaic and energy storage components in Suzhou. This seminar focuses on the latest standards and market access requirements for photovoltaic junction boxes, connectors, cables, interconnection systems, as well as connectors, cables and other components for energy storage systems, aiming to help R&D and production personnel in the photovoltaic and energy storage industry fully grasp the standard content and apply it, and provide support for enterprises to improve product quality and market competitiveness.

TUV Rheinland Greater China's Vice President of solar and Commercial product services Xia Bo delivered an enthusiastic opening speech.

At the seminar, Technical experts from TUV Rheinland Greater China Solar and Commercial Product Services updated IEC 62790 for photovoltaic junction boxes and IEC 62852 for photovoltaic connectors, IEC 62930 for photovoltaic cables and IEC 62979 photovoltaic Junction Box heat escape test standards, Photovoltaic Cable global market access requirements and building directive requirements for CPR, as well as aluminum conductor photovoltaic cable 2PfG 2642 standard are introduced in detail. At the same time, the failure cases and performance optimization of photovoltaic power station end components, 2PfG 1913 certification of photovoltaic interconnection system, 2PfG 2693 cable standard for energy storage system are also analyzed.

At the conference, TUV Rheinland also issued a letter of thanks to the technical experts who were deeply involved in the development and development of the standard. These experts are from Suzhou Yonghao Cable Co., LTD., Suzhou Kuaike photovoltaic Electronics Co., LTD., Suzhou Xietong photovoltaic Technology Co., LTD., Zhejiang Renhe Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. and other 20 enterprises and institutions.

And the conference issued the "first domestic 2PfG 2642 standard certification" to the aluminum alloy conductor photovoltaic cable of Suzhou Yonghao Cable Co., LTD., marking that Suzhou Yonghao cable products have reached the international leading level. Liu Renjing, general manager of Suzhou Yonghao Wire, accepted the certificate on behalf of the company.

Since TUV Rheinland issued the aluminum conductor photovoltaic cable standard in 2017, it has been cited by a number of well-known foreign cable companies. The new standard has also led to a rethink of cable laying by project developers and general contractors (EPC).
